Barney

Description

Barney is a very sweet 10 year old, 20lb, Terrier/Poodle mix. He has very long legs, curly, wire hair and a little mohawk! He came to our rescue after his family moved to an apartment where he wasn't allowed. Barney has adjusted well and has been friendly with everyone he has met! He gets along with dogs, cats, bunnies, and kids! He loves toys but will destroy soft, plush ones and he doesn't like to share his toys with other dogs. While he has lived with all types, he prefers larger dog with medium calm energy. He will play with his buddies on occasion, but he would be fine as the only pet also. He enjoys a good scratch and will hang out with you while you watch TV. He even watches, too! Barney is not too hyper, but he is still playful and he gets so excited to go for walks! Sometimes he pulls and barks at other dogs in excitement though. Other than that, he is a very well-behaved boy. He is great in a car, knows basic commands, is housebroken, and crate trained.
