Robert A 1397917 was placed on URGENT NR on 11/13/25Robert is in need of URGENT Rescue due to his fearful and avoidant behavior in the shelter environment with minimal improvement. Robert is non-affiliative with human at this time and is not thriving in the shelter environment.11/11/25 12:07Alarm barking in kennel when approaching, jumping at front of kennel. After cracking door open dog ceases barking and attempts to push nose through door. ABle to leash with no issues. Once leashed dog pulls hard out of room, walks fine on leash otherwise. Frantically looking around, turning attention towards people or voices and was whining; possibly searching for familiar person. Dog showed no interest in us and was avoidant, only running back in forth in yard looking out from each side. Cautiously approached and smelled handler but otherwise focused on getting out of yard. Pulled dog closer to me with leashed and dog tolerant of petting along back, flinched a bit after first time petting but afterwards payed no mind to us, still focused on exiting enclosure. Did not attempt further handling. No issue returning to kennel, removed leash with preclipped cat leash11/09/25 17:23opened kennel door and able to leash, In yard, able to do minimal body handling and vaccinations. Did dog to dog and no reactivity. Soft body with other dogs. Non reactive on leash and in yard as dogs walked by.11/03/25 12:04 At front of kennel, wagging tail mid stance/ fast, upon presenting hand to front of kennel dog begins bearing teeth. no retreating.
