Description
Insights from my foster:`Quiche is a playful but gentle kitten. She is a little bit shy if she is startled or you rush to pick her up, but I think this will resolve itself as she gets older and used to new surroundings and people. I have been fostering her as a single kitten, so she has not had any siblings around to play with or learn from, but has learned to eat dry food and use the litter tray quickly. She loves to sleep and brawl with her plush sister `Lorraine`. I love her sweet, gentle and trusting disposition. She has her active play time with her toys, but then just likes to quietly hang out and observe the goings on in the household.``Her personality has changed quite a bit after her URI cleared up with 2 rounds of antibiotics. She has gotten very energetic and doesn't seem to want to sleep except catnaps. Sometimes I think she gets herself over stimulated so I put her to bed in a dark room and she seems to calm down. She hasn't had another kitten or cat around to model her behavior so I think she would do best with in a house with another kitten or cat/dog (with proper introductions). She is very interested in our old cat, but she runs away from the kitten and will not play. Quiche likes to play predator & prey and be on the hunt alot, so without another animal to play with, she does it with me. It's best to let her come to you because if you try to go to her first she typically hides. I think she will grow out of this as she gets older and is more comfortable in her surroundings. I love how she wants to be in the same room as me and follows me from room to room.`
