Mary is a beautiful 2-year-old Pit Bull mix who finds herself back at Animal Control after being adopted as a puppy. While we wish her story had a different ending, we're hopeful that her perfect forever home is still out there waiting for her.Mary is a sweet and loving girl, but she can be timid when meeting new people. She takes time to build trust and feel comfortable, so she'll need a patient adopter who understands that good things are worth waiting for. Once you've earned Mary's trust, you'll discover an incredibly loyal companion and best friend for life.Mary seems to feel most comfortable around women and would thrive in a quiet home with a gentle, patient female owner who will allow her to adjust at her own pace. She is a sensitive soul who needs someone willing to let her blossom in her own time.One thing that helps bring Mary out of her shell is the company of other dogs. She gets along well with canine friends and enjoys spending time playing outdoors with them. She also loves water and is always happy to splash around in her kiddie pool on warm days.Mary is spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, and ready to start the next chapter of her life.
