Bobby is a 2-year-old Foxhound mix weighing about 44 pounds, and he’s the total package—sweet, gentle, handsome, and incredibly easy to love. We first noticed Bobby when we saw a video of him at the shelter calmly asking for pets. While other dogs were barking for attention, Bobby quietly leaned in for affection with his soulful eyes and floppy ears, and we knew we had to help him.Now settling into foster care, Bobby has proven to be exactly what we hoped: a super chill, affectionate boy with a heart of gold. His foster describes him as “super chill,” and he has already mastered both house and crate training. He walks nicely on a leash and enjoys exploring the world one sniff at a time, following his nose on leisurely strolls just as any good hound would.Bobby gets along beautifully with everyone he meets. He is great with other dogs, gentle with kids, and even respectful around cats. He has a calm, easygoing personality and is the kind of dog who would rather lean into you for pets than jump all over you for attention.While Bobby is definitely on the calmer side, he still has that classic hound curiosity and would love a fenced yard or an active family that enjoys walks, hikes, and outdoor adventures. When the fun is over, he’ll be happy to curl up nearby and soak up all the love you can give.He even handled bath time like a gentleman!
