Rocky is a sweet, gentle boy who tends to be on the shy side when meeting new people, but once he feels safe and comfortable, his affectionate personality begins to shine. He enjoys quiet moments, cozy hiding spots, and watching the world go by from a comfortable perch. Rocky may take a little time to adjust to a new environment, but with patience, kindness, and understanding, he forms strong bonds with the people he trusts. This sensitive sweetheart is looking for a calm home where he can settle in at his own pace and grow into a confident companion. If you're willing to give him the time he needs, Rocky will reward you with gentle companionship, quiet affection, and the special connection that comes from earning the trust of a shy cat.Rocky is ready to find the forever family that will love him just as he is.Adoptable cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, started on core vaccines per shelter protocols, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested, and started on monthly preventatives. Adoptions hours (no appointment needed) are M/T/W/F 10 am - 12:30 pm and 2 pm -4 pm; TH 10 am -12:30 pm and 2 pm -6:30 pm, and SAT 9 am -1 pm. To schedule an appointment outside of those hours, and/or to learn more information regarding a particular animal, please call the Feline Department at 410-848-4810 ext 816. If no one answers, please leave a detailed message with your name and phone number, and the call will be returned by end of business Monday - Friday.Adopters can prepare for their visit by being 18 years of age or older, having permission from their landlord to bring a new pet into their household, having some form of ID that shows their current address, and by bringing a suitable carrier to take their new companion home in. The adoption fee can be paid using cash, debit or credit and is based on age: Cats 1 year and younger are $75; cats 2 years to 7 years are $50; and 8 years and older are $25.
