Meet Cole, the 11 month old black and white kitty! Cole was surrendered with another kitty after living under a house for a while. Cole is a little bit of a shy guy and needs a little bit of time to warm up to people. He has done well with our volunteers and accepted head pets from them, but he will need some time to decompress and learn to trust his new people. He has lived with other cats before, including his kennel-mate Cypress here at the shelter, but we always recommend a gradual introduction when two pets will start living together. If you’re looking for a fluffy softie to wiggle his way into your heart, come by the shelter and meet Cole!Cole is available for preadoption - come meet him, fall in love and take him home after his neuter surgery!Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
