Description
Sweet girl Aurea, came to PAW as an owner surrender, by no fault of her own. She is an adorable young girl, just one year old, who can't wait to settle into a new home.Last year, Aurea was hit by a car and as a result, had her back leg amputated, but you wouldn't know it from the way that she navigates the world, emotionally and physically! Aurea loves to run, especially with other dogs, and she loves car rides. She loves people, snuggles, and treats. She is easy on the leash, she is hose broken and crate trained.Aurea, a true Husky mix, loves to "talk". She rides well in the car and is always up for a ride with her person. While Aurea is good with other dogs, it may take her some time to warm up and to acclimate to some. Aurea is good with children and she has lived with cats. Her foster said that she can chew items she is not supposed to if left unattended, but she is a puppy after all, and she is still learning. Energetic, Aurea will settle when told, and she will continue to calm down as she ages. In the meantime, she is always up for an adventure, she has a very sweet disposition, and cannot wait to see what forever adventure awaits!PAW adopts in the MD, DC, northern VA, and northern PA region.
