Pollywog

Description

Pollywog is nearly perfect! An adult dog who still loves to run and play, she is the perfect blend of fun and snuggles. At just 20 lbs. she is a perfect size for any home and lifestyle. She is curious and loves to explore, both inside and out. Pollywog is great in the car and easy to walk. She wants to stop and say hello to all the other dogs on walks, and she loves to run and play with other dogs and humans alike. She is very people focused and will follow her person around like a little shadow. Pollywog loves rubbing noses and giving gentle kisses on your face to show affection. She loves to be snuggled, pet, and rubbed - face and ear rubs are her favorite! Pollywod also loves to be brushed; any attention is welcome!Pollywog is working on "sit" and "down" commands. She is treat motivated and continues to need help with her jumping up (even thought it is from excitement)!  Her appetite is hearty, which is good because she could put on a few pounds. She sometimes finishes a meal fairly quickly, but often grazes over a few hours, and she often will poop within an hour of eating and may still need some cues/training to make her business in the yard. Pollywog is crate trained and although she does not like to go in her crate, she is fine once settled down, and she will sleep through the night quietly. However, her favorite spot to sleep is right next to her person - is that you?PAW adopts in the MD, northern VA, DC, and northern PA region.
