WATCH MY VIDEO...His name is Charming, and it fits him perfectly. This handsome 2-year-old apricot Pit Bull mix came to us from another shelter, so his past is a mystery. What isn't a mystery is that Charming is full of life, enthusiasm, and potential. From the moment you meet him, it's clear that Charming loves people. Staff and volunteers describe him as friendly, affectionate, and eager for attention. He enjoys being petted and is always happy to spend time with his human friends. Charming is a strong, athletic dog who approaches life with excitement. He absolutely loves snacks and can become so enthusiastic that he'll jump in anticipation and forget his manners for a moment. Because of his strength and exuberance, he'll do best with an adopter who can confidently handle him on a leash and continue working on his training. The good news is that Charming is already showing signs that he's ready to learn. Once he gets outside of his kennel environment, he settles down considerably and becomes much easier to engage with. Like many shelter dogs, some of his excitement comes from simply being eager to get out and enjoy the world around him.One thing volunteers have noticed is that Charming doesn't seem bothered by the other dogs around him. While proper introductions are always important, he has shown a calm attitude when passing kennel neighbors. Beneath all that energy is a dog who simply wants guidance, structure, and someone to believe in him. Charming has all the ingredients to become an incredible companion: he loves people, enjoys attention, is food motivated, and is eager to interact with those around him.
