Chia – Playful, Clever, and Full of Joy Chia is a 4-year-old Belgian Shepherd Malinois mix weighing 59 pounds with an enthusiastic personality, impressive training skills, and a playful spirit. Smart and highly trainable: Chia responds beautifully to cues including “sit,” “down,” “touch,” and “paw,” and even comes running when called. She takes treats gently, though she may occasionally try to sneak one from the treat bag. Toy enthusiast: Balls, plush toys, squeaky toys—Chia loves them all. She enjoys fetch, reliably returning the ball. She also enjoys pouncing on toys, carrying them proudly, or rolling around in the grass with them. Active and athletic: With only mild leash pulling, Chia enjoys exploring, sniffing, running, and engaging in handler-led games and activities. Affectionate companion: Between play sessions, Chia seeks out affection, enjoying chest rubs and chin scratches while relaxing close to her person. Chia would do best as the only dog in the home at this time, though she may enjoy appropriately matched dog friends outside the home.
