Tandy is a sweet, happy 1-year-old Rottweiler mix who came all the way from Texas to find her forever family in New England. At about 50 pounds, she has the classic Rottie look in a smaller package, complete with the cutest smile!   Tandy can be shy when meeting new people, but once she feels safe, her loving personality shines. She is cuddly, affectionate, food motivated, and happiest when she can be near her people. She thrives with patience, gentle introductions, and a consistent routine — and she is already learning new routines very quickly in her foster home.   Tandy has done wonderfully with the dog in her foster home and loves running, playing, and romping around the yard. She may enjoy having a friendly dog companion, but what she needs most is a patient adopter who will continue helping her build confidence.   Tandy has not been cat tested. She has done well with teenagers in her foster home, but has not had much known exposure to younger children.   This sweet girl has so much love to give. With a little patience and a lot of kindness, Tandy is going to make a wonderful companion for someone lucky!
