To apply to adopt this dog now, complete our adoption application HERE To see our upcoming events where you can meet some of our dogs, please see HERE Age: 5 months (as of 5/22/26) Weight: 6.5 lbs (as of 4/22/26) Location: RI This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. Meet Lambchop, a delightful puppy with a heart full of joy and a tail that never stops wagging! We are thinking Lambchop and her brother Pinnochio are a Miniature Pinscher (aka Min Pin) mix. This sweet, friendly, and goofy girl loves nothing more than a good play session, especially if it involves her favorite toys. She has enjoyed playing with the other dogs in her foster home and would love a canine sibling to call her own! She has been working on building her confidence while in her foster home and she is doing quite nicely. She will need a family who is patient and willing to explore new things at her own pace. She is doing great, but wouldn't call her a social butterfly just yet! She would do best in a home without small kids. She still has so much to learn, but she is a smart cookie! She is working on house training, crate training and will need to learn to walk on a leash. We strongly recommend that all our dogs attend obedience classes because you get to learn fun new skills together. It also offers an opportunity for confidence building and socialization for the dog. Why adopt Lambchop? Because every day with her is bound to be filled with laughter, love, and lots of playful antics! An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see HERE for more information about this. To apply for this dog, fill out an adoption application on our website: Adoption Application - SOS Animal Rescue League in Rhode Island (sosarl.org) **Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
