Description

Ivan's Embark DNA test came back 100% beagle! He is young and still full of puppy joy and puppy shenanigans. He's also super cute. Ivan loves toys, being outside, the dog park and other dogs. He was frightened and withdrawn in the shelter and is still a little skittish with people, but is quickly learning that humans can be kind. Ivan is really very gentle and he definitely looks to his foster mom for guidance. He finds the world totally entertaining. Cats, birds, lizards all are meant to be chased. But he's a cuddle bug sweetheart and loves affection when he finally slows down, and at bedtime he sleeps quietly in his crate with his Pupsicle to tuck him in. When foster mom is away from home he is crated, but he does have the company of other dogs. Did we mention that he loves other dogs? Ivan is doing excellent with his housetraining, but he has access to a fenced yard through a dog door. He could still use some improvement on his leash walking skills. Ivan is heartworm negative and ready for a sleepover. If you need another dog to be a good companion for your dog, give him Ivan!
